who commands the sun, and it does not rise; who seals up the stars;


So Moses stretched out his hand toward heaven, and there was thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days;


If one curses his father or his mother, his lamp will be put out in utter darkness.

For the stars of the heavens and their constellations will not give their light; the sun will be dark at its rising and the moon will not shed its light.

The earth quakes before them, the heavens tremble. The sun and the moon are darkened, and the stars withdraw their shining.
