Sion did hear, and joyful was, glad Judah's daughters were; They much rejoic'd, O Lord, because thy judgments did appear.

Zion heard, and was glad; And the daughters of Judah rejoiced because of thy judgments, O LORD.

Zion has heard and celebrates, the towns of Judah rejoice, because of your acts of justice, LORD,

The rivers will clap their hands, the mountains will exult together,

The rivers shall clap their hands, the mountains shall rejoice together

Because thy judgments are made known, let Sion mount rejoice; Of Judah let the daughters all send forth a cheerful voice.

Walk about Sion, and go round; the high tow'rs thereof tell:

The righteous shall it see, and fear, and laugh at him they shall:

The righteous, when he vengeance sees, he shall be joyful then; The righteous one shall wash his feet in blood of wicked men.
