But thou, O Lord, art the most High, for ever to remain.
But thou, LORD, art most high for evermore.
But You, Lord, are on high forever.
But thou, O Jehovah, art on high for evermore.
But you, LORD, are exalted forever!
But as for such as turn aside after their crooked way, God shall lead forth with wicked men: on Isr'el peace shall stay.
For, even like unto the grass, soon be cut down shall they; And, like the green and tender herb, they wither shall away.
They daily would me swallow up that hate me spitefully; For they be many that do fight against me, O most High.
Till to God's sanctuary I went, then I their end did see.
Assuredly thou didst them set a slipp'ry place upon; Them suddenly thou castedst down into destruction.
That men may know that thou, to whom alone doth appertain The name JEHOVAH, dost most high o'er all the earth remain.
But yet the Lord, that is on high, is more of might by far Than noise of many waters is, or great sea-billows are.
