O thou the God of all my praise, do thou not hold thy peace;


Do not forget the voice of those that are thine enemies: Of those the tumult ever grows that do against thee rise.


Amidst thy congregations thine enemies do roar: Their ensigns they set up for signs of triumph thee before.


The haters of the Lord to him submission should have feign'd; But as for them, their time should have for evermore remain'd.


The floods, O Lord, have lifted up, they lifted up their voice; The floods have lifted up their waves, and made a mighty noise.
