Yet, notwithstanding of all this, they sinned still the more; And though he had great wonders wrought, believ'd him not therefore:

For all this they sinned still, And believed not for his wondrous works.

In spite of all this, they sinned still more, for they believed not in (relied not on and adhered not to Him for) His wondrous works.

But in spite of all that, they kept sinning and had no faith in God’s wondrous works.

His works and wonders they forgot, which he to them did show.
