They from their lust had not estrang'd their heart and their desire; But while the meat was in their mouths, which they did so require,

They were not estranged from their lust. But while their meat was yet in their mouths,

But scarce had they stilled their craving, and while their meat was yet in their mouths, [Num. 11:33.]

They were not estranged from that which they desired, Their food was yet in their mouths,

But they didn’t stop craving— even with the food still in their mouths!
