In judgment therefore shall not stand such as ungodly are; Nor in th' assembly of the just shall wicked men appear.


Let burning coals upon them fall, them throw in fiery flame, And in deep pits, that they no more may rise out of the same.


I wounded them, they could not rise; they at my feet did fall.


But thou, O Lord my God, those men in justice shalt o'erthrow, And in destruction's dungeon dark at last shalt lay them low: The bloody and deceitful men shall not live half their days: But upon thee with confidence I will depend always.


The Lord is by the judgment known which he himself hath wrought: The sinners' hands do make the snares wherewith themselves are caught.
