Ev'n he it is that unto kings salvation doth send; Who his own servant David doth from hurtful sword defend.

It is he that giveth salvation unto kings: Who delivereth David his servant from the hurtful sword.

You are He Who gives salvation to kings, Who rescues David His servant from the hurtful sword [of evil].

Thou art he that giveth salvation unto kings; Who rescueth David his servant from the hurtful sword.

to you—the one who gives saving help to rulers, and who rescues his servant David from the evil sword.

O Lord, may all your works confess to you, and let your holy ones bless you.

Let all thy works, O lord, praise thee: and let thy saints bless thee.

For thine own servant David's sake, do not deny thy grace; Nor of thine own anointed one turn thou away the face.

O God the Lord, who art the strength of my salvation: A cov'ring in the day of war my head thou hast put on.

Unto the wicked man, O Lord, his wishes do not grant; Nor further thou his ill device, lest they themselves should vaunt.

He great deliv'rance gives his king: he mercy doth extend To David, his anointed one, and his seed without end.
