In our low state who on us thought: for he hath mercy ever.
Who remembered us in our low estate: For his mercy endureth for ever:
To Him Who [earnestly] remembered us in our low estate and imprinted us [on His heart], for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever;
Who remembered us in our low estate; For his lovingkindness endureth for ever;
God remembered us when we were humiliated— God’s faithful love lasts forever.
The prayer of the destitute he surely will regard; Their prayer will he not despise, by him it shall be heard.
He from the dust doth raise the poor, that very low doth lie; And from the dunghill lifts the man oppress'd with poverty;
God saves the meek: I was brought low, he did me help afford.
Because I am brought very low, attend unto my cry: Me from my persecutors save, who stronger are than I.
