Thine arrows sharply pierce the heart of th' en'mies of the King; And under thy subjection the people down do bring.


So God shall thee destroy for aye, remove thee, pluck thee out Quite from thy house, out of the land of life he shall thee root.


My soul among fierce lions is, I firebrands live among, Men's sons, whose teeth are spears and darts, a sharp sword is their tongue.


Behold, they belch out with their mouth, and in their lips are swords: For they do say thus, Who is he that now doth hear our words?


He also hath for him prepar'd the instruments of death; Against the persecutors he his shafts ordained hath.
