I saw transgressors, and was griev'd; for they keep not thy word.

I beheld the transgressors, and was grieved; Because they kept not thy word.

I behold the treacherous and am grieved and loathe them, because they do not respect Your law [neither hearing, receiving, loving, nor obeying it].

I look on the faithless, and I am disgusted because they haven’t kept your word.

Rivers of waters from mine eyes did run down, when I saw How wicked men run on in sin, and do not keep thy law.

Horror took hold on me, because ill men thy law forsake.

Do not I hate all those, O Lord, that hatred bear to thee? With those that up against thee rise can I but grieved be?
