And when by thee he shall be judg'd, let him condemned be; And let his pray'r be turn'd to sin, when he shall call on thee.

When he shall be judged, let him be condemned: And let his prayer become sin.

When [the wicked] is judged, let him be condemned, and let his prayer [for leniency] be turned into a sin.

When he is judged, let him come forth guilty; And let his prayer be turned into sin.

When the sentence is passed, let him be found guilty— let his prayer be found sinful!

He will drink from the torrent on the way. Because of this, he will exalt the head.

He shall drink of the torrent in the way: therefore shall he lift up the head.
