And unto Jacob, for a law, he made it firm and sure, A covenant to Israel, which ever should endure.

Which He confirmed to Jacob as a statute, to Israel as an everlasting covenant,

And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a statute, To Israel for an everlasting covenant,

God set it up as binding law for Jacob, as an eternal covenant for Israel,

And he saved them from the hand of those who hated them. And he redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.
