Although he his own soul did bless whilst he on earth did live; (And when thou to thyself dost well, men will thee praises give;)


Whoe'er they be that in their wealth their confidence do pitch, And boast themselves, because they are become exceeding rich:


Cutt'st off that liars be: The bloody and deceitful man abhorred is by thee.


Why dost thou boast, O mighty man, of mischief and of ill? The goodness of Almighty God endureth ever still.


How long shall things most hard by them be uttered and told? And all that work iniquity to boast themselves be bold?
