for he taught them as one having authority, and not as their scribes.


They were astounded at his teaching, for he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.


They were all amazed, and they kept on asking one another, “What is this? A new teaching—with authority! He commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey him.”

therefore let no one despise him. Send him on his way in peace, so that he may come to me; for I am expecting him with the brothers.

proclaim the message; be persistent whether the time is favorable or unfavorable; convince, rebuke, and encourage, with the utmost patience in teaching.


That testimony is true. For this reason rebuke them sharply, so that they may become sound in the faith,


Whoever speaks must do so as one speaking the very words of God; whoever serves must do so with the strength that God supplies, so that God may be glorified in all things through Jesus Christ. To him belong the glory and the power forever and ever. Amen.
