Is anything too wonderful for the Lord? At the set time I will return to you, in due season, and Sarah shall have a son.”
Sarah conceived and bore Abraham a son in his old age, at the time of which God had spoken to him.
So in the present case, I tell you, keep away from these men and let them alone; because if this plan or this undertaking is of human origin, it will fail;
By faith Abraham, when put to the test, offered up Isaac. He who had received the promises was ready to offer up his only son,
