I call upon you, for you will answer me, O God; incline your ear to me, hear my words.


Lift up your heads, O gates! and be lifted up, O ancient doors! that the King of glory may come in.


Rise up, O Lord! Deliver me, O my God! For you strike all my enemies on the cheek; you break the teeth of the wicked.


You are my King and my God; you command victories for Jacob.


Listen to the sound of my cry, my King and my God, for to you I pray.


Yet God my King is from of old, working salvation in the earth.


but those who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.


But when the chief priests and the scribes saw the amazing things that he did, and heard the children crying out in the temple, “Hosanna to the Son of David,” they became angry
