The Lord says to my lord, “Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies your footstool.”


For this I will extol you, O Lord, among the nations, and sing praises to your name.


In his days Judah will be saved and Israel will live in safety. And this is the name by which he will be called: “The Lord is our righteousness.”


“Everyone therefore who acknowledges me before others, I also will acknowledge before my Father in heaven;


to you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is the Messiah, the Lord.


Nevertheless many, even of the authorities, believed in him. But because of the Pharisees they did not confess it, for fear that they would be put out of the synagogue;


You call me Teacher and Lord—and you are right, for that is what I am.


So if I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet.


I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.


Jesus answered him, “Those who love me will keep my word, and my Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.


After Jesus had spoken these words, he looked up to heaven and said, “Father, the hour has come; glorify your Son so that the Son may glorify you,


Thomas answered him, “My Lord and my God!”


so that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. Anyone who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.


His parents said this because they were afraid of the Jews; for the Jews had already agreed that anyone who confessed Jesus to be the Messiah would be put out of the synagogue.


You know the message he sent to the people of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ—he is Lord of all.


Therefore let the entire house of Israel know with certainty that God has made him both Lord and Messiah, this Jesus whom you crucified.”


For it is written, “As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall give praise to God.”


For to this end Christ died and lived again, so that he might be Lord of both the dead and the living.


and in order that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy. As it is written, “Therefore I will confess you among the Gentiles, and sing praises to your name”;


Therefore I want you to understand that no one speaking by the Spirit of God ever says “Let Jesus be cursed!” and no one can say “Jesus is Lord” except by the Holy Spirit.


The first man was from the earth, a man of dust; the second man is from heaven.


yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we exist.


Through him you have come to trust in God, who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope are set on God.


God abides in those who confess that Jesus is the Son of God, and they abide in God.


By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God,


Many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh; any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist!


If you conquer, you will be clothed like them in white robes, and I will not blot your name out of the book of life; I will confess your name before my Father and before his angels.
