and the crowd came together again, so that they could not even eat.


and begged him repeatedly, “My little daughter is at the point of death. Come and lay your hands on her, so that she may be made well, and live.”


Now there was a woman who had been suffering from hemorrhages for twelve years.


And his disciples said to him, “You see the crowd pressing in on you; how can you say, ‘Who touched me?’ ”


When the crowds were increasing, he began to say, “This generation is an evil generation; it asks for a sign, but no sign will be given to it except the sign of Jonah.


Meanwhile, when the crowd gathered by the thousands, so that they trampled on one another, he began to speak first to his disciples, “Beware of the yeast of the Pharisees, that is, their hypocrisy.


He was trying to see who Jesus was, but on account of the crowd he could not, because he was short in stature.


And Jesus went with them, but when he was not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to say to him, “Lord, do not trouble yourself, for I am not worthy to have you come under my roof;


for he had an only daughter, about twelve years old, who was dying. As he went, the crowds pressed in on him.


Then Jesus asked, “Who touched me?” When all denied it, Peter said, “Master, the crowds surround you and press in on you.”


how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power; how he went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.
