For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding;


Then the Lord put out his hand and touched my mouth; and the Lord said to me, “Now I have put my words in your mouth.


On that day I will cause a horn to sprout up for the house of Israel, and I will open your lips among them. Then they shall know that I am the Lord.


for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that very hour what you ought to say.”


You will be betrayed even by parents and brothers, by relatives and friends; and they will put some of you to death.


Then he opened their minds to understand the scriptures,


All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other languages, as the Spirit gave them ability.


And as he discussed justice, self-control, and the coming judgment, Felix became frightened and said, “Go away for the present; when I have an opportunity, I will send for you.”


Agrippa said to Paul, “Are you so quickly persuading me to become a Christian?”


But they could not withstand the wisdom and the Spirit with which he spoke.


Pray also for me, so that when I speak, a message may be given to me to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel,


If any of you is lacking in wisdom, ask God, who gives to all generously and ungrudgingly, and it will be given you.
