Scarcely had I passed them, when I found him whom my soul loves. I held him, and would not let him go until I brought him into my mother's house, and into the chamber of her that conceived me.


O hope of Israel, its savior in time of trouble, why should you be like a stranger in the land, like a traveler turning aside for the night?


She had a sister named Mary, who sat at the Lord's feet and listened to what he was saying.


But they urged him strongly, saying, “Stay with us, because it is almost evening and the day is now nearly over.” So he went in to stay with them.


The man from whom the demons had gone begged that he might be with him; but Jesus sent him away, saying,


Many Samaritans from that city believed in him because of the woman's testimony, “He told me everything I have ever done.”


And many more believed because of his word.


When the two days were over, he went from that place to Galilee


When she and her household were baptized, she urged us, saying, “If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come and stay at my home.” And she prevailed upon us.


So there was great joy in that city.
