Abaddon and Death say, ‘We have heard a rumor of it with our ears.’
Destruction and death say, We have heard the fame thereof with our ears.
Abaddon (the place of destruction) and Death say, We have [only] heard the report of it with our ears.
Destruction and Death say, We have heard a rumor thereof with our ears.
Destruction and Death have said, “We’ve heard a report of her.”
Perdition and death have said, "With our ears, we have heard its fame."
Destruction and death have said: With our ears we have heard the fame thereof.
Sheol is naked before God, and Abaddon has no covering.
The deep says, ‘It is not in me,’ and the sea says, ‘It is not with me.’
It is hidden from the eyes of all living, and concealed from the birds of the air.
“And now, my children, listen to me: happy are those who keep my ways.
They have as king over them the angel of the bottomless pit; his name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek he is called Apollyon.
