Then the Lord said to Moses, “Write this as a reminder in a book and recite it in the hearing of Joshua: I will utterly blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.”


Go now, write it before them on a tablet, and inscribe it in a book, so that it may be for the time to come as a witness forever.


Then the Lord said to me, Take a large tablet and write on it in common characters, “Belonging to Maher-shalal-hash-baz,”


I will bring upon that land all the words that I have uttered against it, everything written in this book, which Jeremiah prophesied against all the nations.


The word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord:


Take another scroll and write on it all the former words that were in the first scroll, which King Jehoiakim of Judah has burned.


Then Jeremiah took another scroll and gave it to the secretary Baruch son of Neriah, who wrote on it at Jeremiah's dictation all the words of the scroll that King Jehoiakim of Judah had burned in the fire; and many similar words were added to them.


But you, Daniel, keep the words secret and the book sealed until the time of the end. Many shall be running back and forth, and evil shall increase.”


For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, so that by steadfastness and by the encouragement of the scriptures we might have hope.


These things happened to them to serve as an example, and they were written down to instruct us, on whom the ends of the ages have come.


Now therefore write this song, and teach it to the Israelites; put it in their mouths, in order that this song may be a witness for me against the Israelites.


because no prophecy ever came by human will, but men and women moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.


saying, “Write in a book what you see and send it to the seven churches, to Ephesus, to Smyrna, to Pergamum, to Thyatira, to Sardis, to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea.”


Now write what you have seen, what is, and what is to take place after this.
