You are the descendants of the prophets and of the covenant that God gave to your ancestors, saying to Abraham, ‘And in your descendants all the families of the earth shall be blessed.’
and not all of Abraham's children are his true descendants; but “It is through Isaac that descendants shall be named for you.”
And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's offspring, heirs according to the promise.
One, the child of the slave, was born according to the flesh; the other, the child of the free woman, was born through the promise.
