The prophet Isaiah cried to the Lord; and he brought the shadow back the ten intervals, by which the sun had declined on the dial of Ahaz.


But whenever you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you.


But when the crowd had been put outside, he went in and took her by the hand, and the girl got up.


When Jesus saw that a crowd came running together, he rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, “You spirit that keeps this boy from speaking and hearing, I command you, come out of him, and never enter him again!”


Then he withdrew from them about a stone's throw, knelt down, and prayed,


But he took her by the hand and called out, “Child, get up!”


When he had finished speaking, he knelt down with them all and prayed.
