“Claudius Lysias to his Excellency the governor Felix, greetings.


Five days later the high priest Ananias came down with some elders and an attorney, a certain Tertullus, and they reported their case against Paul to the governor.


We welcome this in every way and everywhere with utmost gratitude.


Since they were staying there several days, Festus laid Paul's case before the king, saying, “There is a man here who was left in prison by Felix.


When we came into Rome, Paul was allowed to live by himself, with the soldier who was guarding him.


But Philip found himself at Azotus, and as he was passing through the region, he proclaimed the good news to all the towns until he came to Caesarea.
