Why should they be called gods, when they are not able to help us or harm us in any way?

No one should ever believe that idols are gods. They can't help anyone or make decisions about justice.

Wherefore a man should neither think nor say that they are gods, seeing they are able neither to judge causes, nor to do good unto men.
