And they led away the women as captives, and they possessed the children and the cattle.

And they took the women captive, and the children, and the cattle they possessed.

They brought in a group of traitorous Jews and installed them there.

They put a sinful nation, transgressors of the law, there, and they strengthened themselves in it.

There they stationed some Jewish troops who had rejected God's Law.
