if those of my household have never said, “Who has not been filled with Job’s meat?” –


The Lord will vindicate me; your love, Lord, endures for ever – do not abandon the works of your hands.


Do not withhold your mercy from me, Lord; may your love and faithfulness always protect me.


Send me your light and your faithful care, let them lead me; let them bring me to your holy mountain, to the place where you dwell.


May he be enthroned in God’s presence for ever; appoint your love and faithfulness to protect him.
