‘ “Throughout the period of their dedication to the Lord, the Nazirite must not go near a dead body.
All the days that he separateth himself unto the LORD he shall come at no dead body.
All the days that he separates himself to the Lord he shall not go near a dead body.
All the days that he separateth himself unto Jehovah he shall not come near to a dead body.
The period of dedication to the LORD also requires that the person not go near a corpse,
During all the time of his consecration, he shall not enter because of a death,
All the time of his consecration he shall not go in to any dead.
‘ “Do not cut your bodies for the dead or put tattoo marks on yourselves. I am the Lord.
He must not enter a place where there is a dead body. He must not make himself unclean, even for his father or mother,
nor leave the sanctuary of his God or desecrate it, because he has been dedicated by the anointing oil of his God. I am the Lord.
So from now on we regard no-one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer.
