‘I know full well what you are thinking, the schemes by which you would wrong me.


who shows no partiality to princes and does not favour the rich over the poor, for they are all the work of his hands?


For he stands at the right hand of the needy, to save their lives from those who would condemn them.


Do you rulers indeed speak justly? Do you judge people with equity?


‘How long will you defend the unjust and show partiality to the wicked?


‘So I have caused you to be despised and humiliated before all the people, because you have not followed my ways but have shown partiality in matters of the law.’


And the Lord said, ‘Listen to what the unjust judge says.


Stop judging by mere appearances, but instead judge correctly.’


But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.


Brothers and sisters, do not slander one another. Anyone who speaks against a brother or sister or judges them speaks against the law and judges it. When you judge the law, you are not keeping it, but sitting in judgment on it.
