The servant asked him, ‘What if the woman is unwilling to come back with me to this land? Shall I then take your son back to the country you came from?’


If the woman is unwilling to come back with you, then you will be released from this oath of mine. Only do not take my son back there.’


It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.


But we do not belong to those who shrink back and are destroyed, but to those who have faith and are saved.


By faith he made his home in the promised land like a stranger in a foreign country; he lived in tents, as did Isaac and Jacob, who were heirs with him of the same promise.
