They set the ark of God on a new cart and brought it from the house of Abinadab, which was on the hill. Uzzah and Ahio, sons of Abinadab, were guiding the new cart


They moved the ark of God from Abinadab’s house on a new cart, with Uzzah and Ahio guiding it.


‘This is a requirement of the law that the Lord has commanded: tell the Israelites to bring you a red heifer without defect or blemish and that has never been under a yoke.


Then the elders of the town nearest the body shall take a heifer that has never been worked and has never worn a yoke


and lead it down to a valley that has not been ploughed or planted and where there is a flowing stream. There in the valley they are to break the heifer’s neck.
