To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. I put my trust in Jehovah; how can you say to me, Flee like a bird to the mountains;


To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. The fool has said in his heart, There is no God! They acted corruptly; they have done abominable works, there is none who does good.


he has not put out his money at interest, nor has he taken a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things shall not be moved forever.


And in my blessedness I said, I shall never be moved.


Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.


And you said, I shall be a mistress forever; so you did not lay these things to your heart, nor remembered the latter end of it.


They say, come, Let us take wine, and let us gulp strong drink; and tomorrow shall be like today, and much more abundant.


For as thorns are woven together, and as their drunkards are drunken, they shall be devoured like stubble fully dry.


But if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My Lord delays His coming,
