Yet I planted you a noble vine, wholly a true seed. How then have you turned into the degenerate shoots of an alien vine to Me?


I will utterly consume them, says Jehovah; there shall be no grapes on the vine, nor figs on the fig tree, and the leaf shall fade; and the things that I have given them, those who pass over them.


I tell you, No. But unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.


And now also the axe is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bring forth good fruit is cut down and cast into the fire.


You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and ordained you that you should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain; that whatever you shall ask of the Father in My name, He may give it to you.


But the fruit of the Spirit is: love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith,


I do not say this because I desire a gift, but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.


But the fig tree said to them, Should I forsake my sweetness and my good fruit, and go to be promoted over the trees?
