For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, for he does not have another to help him.


In that day Jehovah with His great and fierce and strong sword shall punish the sea-monster, the darting serpent, the sea-monster, that twisting serpent; and He shall kill the monster in the sea.


Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be as wise as serpents and as harmless as doves.


And when the tempter came to Him, he said, If You are the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.


And he said to Him, If you are the Son of God, cast yourself down. For it is written, "He shall give His angels charge concerning You, and in their hands they shall bear You up, lest at any time You dash Your foot against a stone."


And he said to Him, All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me.


Did not even Satan marvelously transform himself into an angel of light?


But I fear lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve in his craftiness, so your thoughts should be corrupted from the simplicity due to Christ.


Likewise, husbands, live together according to knowledge, giving honor to the wife as to the weaker vessel, the female, as truly being co-heirs together of the grace of life, not cutting off your prayers.


And the serpent cast out of his mouth water like a flood after the woman, so that he might cause her to be carried away by the river.


And the great dragon was cast out, the old serpent called Devil, and Satan, who deceives the whole world. He was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
