And the king said to Amasa, gather to me the men of Judah within three days, and you be present here.
You have also delivered me from the strivings of my people, You have kept me the head of the nations. A people I knew not shall serve me.
So may God do to Abner, and more also, if I do not do to David as Jehovah has sworn,
And all the tribes of Israel came to David, to Hebron, and spoke, saying, Behold, we are your bone and your flesh.
