before I go whence I shall not return, even to the land of darkness and the shadow of death;


a land of darkness, as darkness itself; and of the shadow of death, without any order, and where the light is as darkness.


O Lord my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.


My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.


For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.


Thou hast heard my voice: hide not thine ear at my breathing, at my cry.
