And she sent and called Barak the son of Abin´o-am out of Kedesh–naph´tali, and said unto him, Hath not the Lord God of Israel commanded, saying, Go and draw toward mount Tabor, and take with thee ten thousand men of the children of Naph´tali and of the children of Zeb´ulun?
Zeb´ulun and Naph´tali were a people that jeoparded their lives unto the death in the high places of the field.
And the men of Israel gathered themselves together out of Naph´tali, and out of Asher, and out of all Manas´seh, and pursued after the Mid´i-anites.
Now therefore go to, proclaim in the ears of the people, saying, Whosoever is fearful and afraid, let him return and depart early from mount Gil´e-ad. And there returned of the people twenty and two thousand; and there remained ten thousand.
