Agree with thine adversary quickly, while thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison.


thou shalt surely smite the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, destroying it utterly, and all that is therein, and the cattle thereof, with the edge of the sword.


And the tribes of Israel sent men through all the tribe of Benjamin, saying, What wickedness is this that is done among you?


And the chief of all the people, even of all the tribes of Israel, presented themselves in the assembly of the people of God, four hundred thousand footmen that drew sword.


And the Levite, the husband of the woman that was slain, answered and said, I came into Gib´e-ah that belongeth to Benjamin, I and my concubine, to lodge.
