And from thence he went against the inhabitants of Debir: and the name of Debir before was Kir´jath–se´pher:

And from thence he went against the inhabitants of Debir: and the name of Debir before was Kirjath-sepher:

From there [Judah] went against the inhabitants of Debir. The name of Debir before was Kiriath-sepher [city of books and scribes].

And from thence he went against the inhabitants of Debir. (Now the name of Debir beforetime was Kiriath-sepher.)

From there they moved against those who lived in Debir, known before as Kiriath-sepher.

And continuing on from there, he went to the inhabitants of Debir, the old name of which was Kiriath-Sepher, that is, the City of Letters.

And departing from thence he went to the inhabitants of Dabir, the ancient name of which was Cariath-Sepher, that is, the city of letters.

And he went up thence to the inhabitants of Debir: and the name of Debir before was Kir´jath–se´pher.

and Caleb said, He that smiteth Kir´jath–se´pher, and taketh it, to him will I give Achsah my daughter to wife.
