Philip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the publican; James the son of Al´pheus, and Lebbe´us, whose surname was Thad´de-us;


and he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, He shall be called a Nazarene.


Yea, and why even of yourselves judge ye not what is right?


Now Philip was of Bethsai´da, the city of Andrew and Peter.


Philip findeth Nathan´a-el, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.


the same came therefore to Philip, which was of Bethsai´da of Galilee, and desired him, saying, Sir, we would see Jesus.


Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.


Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ?


When Jesus then lifted up his eyes, and saw a great company come unto him, he saith unto Philip, Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat?


Philip answered him, Two hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may take a little.


They answered and said unto him, Art thou also of Galilee? Search, and look: for out of Galilee ariseth no prophet.


Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
