Now therefore be content, look upon me; for it is evident unto you if I lie.
Now therefore be content, look upon me; For it is evident unto you if I lie.
Now be pleased to look upon me, that it may be evident to you if I lie [for surely I would not lie to your face].
Now therefore be pleased to look upon me; For surely I shall not lie to your face.
Now look at me— would I lie to your face?
Such is true, so finish what you have begun. Listen closely, and see if I lie.
However finish what you have begun: give ear, and see whether I lie.
Should thy lies make men hold their peace? And when thou mockest, shall no man make thee ashamed?
But ye are forgers of lies, ye are all physicians of no value.
And if it be not so now, who will make me a liar, and make my speech nothing worth?
my lips shall not speak wickedness, nor my tongue utter deceit.
My words shall be of the uprightness of my heart: and my lips shall utter knowledge clearly.
For truly my words shall not be false: he that is perfect in knowledge is with thee.
