If you have sinned, how does that affect God? And if your transgressions are multiplied, what have you done to Him?

If thou hast sinned, what effectest thou against him? And if thy transgressions be multiplied, what doest thou unto him?

If you’ve sinned, how have you affected God? Your offenses have multiplied; what have you done to him?

If you sin, how will it hurt him? And if your iniquities are multiplied, what will you do against him?

If thou sin, what shalt thou hurt him? And if thy iniquities be multiplied, what shalt thou do against him?

I have sinned; what shall I do unto thee, O thou preserver of men? Why hast thou set me as a mark against thee, so that I am a burden to myself?

But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death.

If thou be wise, thou shalt be wise for thyself: but if thou scornest, thou alone shalt bear it.

Do they provoke me to anger? saith the Lord: do they not provoke themselves to the confusion of their own faces?
