And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.


For I will defend this city, to save it, for mine own sake, and for my servant David's sake.


Thus the Lord saved Hezeki´ah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem from the hand of Sennach´erib the king of Assyria, and from the hand of all other, and guided them on every side.


And the Lord shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him.


God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.


The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.


He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.


That ye shall say, It is the sacrifice of the Lord's passover, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he smote the Egyptians, and delivered our houses. And the people bowed the head and worshipped.
