therefore, behold, I will bring evil upon the house of Jerobo´am, and will cut off from Jerobo´am him that pisseth against the wall, and him that is shut up and left in Israel, and will take away the remnant of the house of Jerobo´am, as a man taketh away dung, till it be all gone.


The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.


The memory of the just is blessed: but the name of the wicked shall rot.


They come from a far country, from the end of heaven, even the Lord, and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole land.


and, behold, here cometh a chariot of men, with a couple of horsemen. And he answered and said, Babylon is fallen, is fallen; and all the graven images of her gods he hath broken unto the ground.


Thus saith the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; For your sake I have sent to Babylon, and have brought down all their nobles, and the Chalde´ans, whose cry is in the ships.
