Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomor´rah in the day of judgment, than for that city.


For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.


He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.


And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying:


And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.


And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.


And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.


or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that showeth mercy, with cheerfulness.


When ye come together therefore into one place, this is not to eat the Lord's supper.


If therefore the whole church be come together into one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in those that are unlearned, or unbelievers, will they not say that ye are mad?


But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort.


every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.

Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.


Wherefore comfort one another with these words.


Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.


and let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:


For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.


And I beseech you, brethren, suffer the word of exhortation: for I have written a letter unto you in few words.


But exhort one another daily, while it is called Today; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.


Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.


But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.


Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,


Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.


The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is long-suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.


These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.
