Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.


Thus saith the Lord of hosts, Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you; they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of the Lord.


And after he had spent some time there, he departed, and went over all the country of Galatia and Phryg´i-a in order, strengthening all the disciples.


Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offenses contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.


For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh:


When I therefore was thus minded, did I use lightness? or the things that I purpose, do I purpose according to the flesh, that with me there should be yea, yea, and nay, nay?


What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.


Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish aught from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.


Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe.


Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.
