Now this is that which thou shalt offer upon the altar; two lambs of the first year day by day continually.


This shall be a continual burnt offering throughout your generations at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the Lord, where I will meet you, to speak there unto thee.


It is a continual burnt offering, which was ordained in mount Si´nai for a sweet savor, a sacrifice made by fire unto the Lord.


who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, when he offered up himself.


for then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.
