Canst thou by searching find out God? Canst thou find out the Almighty unto perfection?


Lo, these are parts of his ways; but how little a portion is heard of him? But the thunder of his power who can understand?


And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live.


No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.


For now we see through a glass, darkly, but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.


who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honor and power everlasting. Amen.
